We are looking to recruit an Optometrist to work for a high-end independent practice in one of the most attractive harbour towns.

Technology needs to be handled in positive way as it is becoming very digitally based.

The Role

This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a small and friendly independent practice alongside fellow professionals.The practice is highly regarded in the local community and is committed to providing them the highest standards of care. They have recently invested in several new technologies in order to drive excellence in professional eye care and customer service.The practice is sales aware, but there is a comfortable balance between patient care and sales targets allowing you to practice in a way that’s best looks after the patient’s needs, without the pressure of meeting conversion and dispense targets.The Optometrists tests in 30 minute appointment slots for eye examinations and 15 minutes for contact lens after cares. There is an extensive contact lens data base with patients ranging in age from 10 to 93. All of the dispensing and collections are done by a qualified dispensing optician.As things stand the practice is closed on Saturdays so there is no weekend work.You will be working alongside qualified professionals and experienced members of staff to help look after loyal and longstanding patients and welcome new ones.You will be involved in the day to day running of the store as well as consultations, dispensing etc
