Description:
Working as part of the Operations Team and reporting to the Production/Operations Manager. The Production Controller will plan, co-ordinate and expedite the flow of work through production. Liaising with Cell Leaders to determine the progress of work and advising the Sales Team of completion dates.
Other duties will include, creating works orders, planning of production to meet customer requirements, reviewing the shop floor capacity and staff levels, amending production schedules and expediting work through production to meet customer delivery requirements.
Experience of ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is essential; HNC in Electrical Engineering is desirable and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Production Controller within a Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM) environment. Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is essential.
